Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Slpy (“Baby Sleep Coach - Slpy”) is an iPhone app provided by Metin Arslantürk (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the app and this website, slpy.arslanturk.dev. For privacy questions or requests, contact contact@apps.arslanturk.dev.

2. No account, information stored on your device

Slpy does not require an account, email address, or sign-up. The information you enter about your baby (name, sex, birth date, sleep challenges, how your baby falls asleep, typical schedule, coaching style and goals), your sleep plan, sleep logs, check-ins, coach chats, settings and reminders are stored on your iPhone. Bedtime and check-in reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device; we do not use a push-notification server.

3. When you use AI features

Slpy’s AI features include creating your sleep plan, the sleep coach chat, morning check-ins and weekly sleep reports. When you use one of them, the app sends the information needed to generate the answer to our backend, which runs on Cloudflare Workers (slpy-api.arslanturk.dev), and from there to our AI processing provider, which generates the response on our behalf. A request can include:

• your baby’s profile: name, sex, birth date and your onboarding answers about sleep;
• your current plan and recent sleep log times, where relevant;
• your question or check-in answers.

We do not store the content of these prompts or the AI answers on our servers. The answer is returned to your app and saved only on your device. Please don’t enter information in the chat that isn’t needed for sleep coaching, such as contact details or detailed medical records.

4. Your anonymous device account

To provide free AI sessions and Premium access without sign-up, our backend keeps an anonymous device account containing:

• a random installation ID and a random device ID generated by the app (the device ID is kept in your iPhone’s Keychain and can survive reinstalling);
• your remaining free AI credits;
• an anonymous RevenueCat purchase ID used to check Premium access;
• request metadata: request type, status, duration and timestamp.

This record does not contain your baby’s name, your plan, sleep logs, questions or AI answers. Like any internet service, Cloudflare processes connection data such as IP address to deliver and protect the backend.

5. Payments and RevenueCat

Apple handles in-app payments; we never receive your payment-card details. RevenueCat manages and validates Slpy Premium. It receives an anonymous app user ID, purchase and transaction history, and technical purchase information such as app and SDK version, platform, product identifiers, transaction dates, currency and storefront. This is used for purchase validation, restoration, entitlement management and purchase analytics, not for advertising. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy and Apple’s privacy policy.

6. App usage analytics

Slpy uses Mixpanel to understand how the app is used and to improve it. We send a closed list of events: app opens, onboarding steps, plan generation, paywall views, purchase and restore outcomes, the kind of AI request and whether it succeeded, check-ins and coach messages sent (without their content), the kind of sleep log, sounds played, guides opened, routine completion, your answer to the notification permission, review requests, language changes, and account deletion. Events include the app language, your device region setting and whether Premium is active, together with a random identifier generated for your installation, timestamps and technical details such as app version and operating system.

Mixpanel derives approximate location (such as country, region and city) from the connection IP address. We do not send your baby’s name, birth date, notes, chat text, questions, AI answers or sleep log details, and automatic interaction capture is disabled. See Mixpanel’s privacy policy.

7. No ads and no tracking

Slpy shows no ads and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. It does not request access to your advertising identifier (there is no tracking prompt), does not include the Meta (Facebook) SDK, and does not sell your personal information.

8. This website and support

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes connection data such as IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time to deliver and protect the site. We do not use analytics scripts, advertising trackers or tracking cookies on this website. If you email support, we process your email address and what you send us to respond. 9. Retention and deletion

You control the data on your device. In Slpy, open Settings and choose “Delete account & data” to delete the baby profile, plan, sleep logs, chats and settings on your device and the anonymous account record on our server. We keep a device marker so the free AI sessions are not granted twice. Deleting the app also removes its local data, though the Keychain device ID may remain on your iPhone.

Request metadata is kept only as long as needed to operate and protect the service. Apple’s and RevenueCat’s transaction records are retained for purchase restoration, fraud prevention and legal obligations, and are not erased by deleting the app. Mixpanel events are kept to analyze and improve the app; contact us about analytics deletion requests. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal obligations.

10. Children’s information

Slpy is intended for parents and caregivers, not for children to use. The information about your baby is entered by you, as the parent or caregiver, to personalize sleep guidance, and it is processed only to provide the app’s features as described above. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will address it.

11. Your rights and service providers

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal information, to data portability, and to complain to a data-protection authority. Data on your device is in your control; we cannot access or retrieve it. For requests about records we or our providers hold, contact contact@apps.arslanturk.dev. We process information to provide the app and the AI features you request, to manage purchases, to improve the app, to respond to support and to meet legal requirements. Apple, RevenueCat, Mixpanel, Cloudflare, our AI processing provider and email providers may process information in countries outside your own under their applicable safeguards.

12. Security and changes to this policy

Connections between the app and our backend are encrypted in transit. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app, our providers or legal requirements, and will give notice of material changes where required. The date above shows the current version.
